Introdução à Modelagem Dinâmica Espacial

Objetivo do Curso

Um dos grandes desafios da Ciência da Informação Espacial é o desenvolvimento de técnicas e abstrações que sejam capazes de representar adequadamente fenômenos espaço-temporais. O objetivo dos modelos dinâmicos espaciais é realizar a simulação numérica de processos do mundo real em que o estado de uma localização na superfície terrestre muda em resposta a variações em suas  forças direcionadas. Este tutorial preparado para o Simpósio Brasileiro de Sensoriamento Remoto, realizado em Belo Horizonte em 2003, tem dois objetivos: (a) apresentar uma visão geral do estado-da-arte em modelos dinâmicos espaciais; (b) apresentar resultados de experimentos desenvolvidos em teses de Doutoramento dos programas de Sensoriamento Remoto e Computação Aplicada do INPE.
