OBT: DPI: Gilberto Câmara: Land Use Change Models

Land Use and Land Cover Change Modelling

This page presents material for INPE's research group on Land Use and Land Cover Change Modelling. We develop computational tools for LUCC modelling and we carry out analytical research on the causes and consequences of human-induced change in Amazonia and in Brazil's urban areas.

INPE's LUCC Modeling research group is composed by: Dr. Gilberto Câmara, Dr. Miguel Monteiro, Dr. Isabel Escada, Dr. Silvana Amaral, Dr. Claudia Almeida, Dr. Joana Barros and PhD students Ana Paula Aguiar, Tiago Carneiro, Gilberto Ribeiro, and Marcelino Silva. We cooperate with groups at the Museu Paraense Emilio Goeldi (Ima Vieira, Roberto Araujo), Embrapa (Tatiana Sá) and INPE (Arnaldo Carneiro).
