Sample Points Generator
The
Sample Points Generator allows the user to create random
points inside an specific area.
TerraView has two algorithms to create this random points:
- Random: Create random
points inside an area.
- Stratified: Create random points
inside a geometry. Each group of points inside a geometry receives
classification.
It is
accessible through:
Plugins > Spatial Analysis >
Sample Points Generator...
This
interface consists of the
following steps:
1.
Input Information:
- Generator Type: Select
the type of generator to create the sample points.
- Layer Area: Select the
desired Layer to define the area to create the sample points.
2.
Operation Parameters:
- Number of points:
Number of random points that will be generated.
- Class Reference Attribute:
Attribute from input data that identifies each class.
- Number of points per class:
The
number of points in
each class.
- Proportional to class area:
The
number of points in
each class varies in
relation to the size of
your area.
3. Output
Information:
- Repository: Defines
where the output data will be saved.
- Layer Name: Defines the
name to create the output layer.
Click OK and then the sample
points will be generated.
