Raste Edit


The Raster Edit operation allows the user to replace raster data pixel values.

It is accessible through:

   Raster Processing > Raster Edit... (list of all raster layers will be available) 

This wizard consists of the following steps:

    Wizard Page 1 - Selection of the layer to execute the operation (Layer Search)

  1. On the List of Layers select the raster layer to apply the operation. 

  2. Optionally use Filter By Name field giving part of the layer name to help find the layer in the list.

  3. Press Next  to go to next step or Cancel to close the dialog.

  1. Select the Edition Type: Entire Raster will replace values over the entire raster data. ROI assisted allows to control the replacing process by restricting it to user supplied ROIs (polygon areas).

  2. Define values to be replaced: Set the field “old” to the original raster value to be replaced. Set the field “new” to the new value. Press the button “+” to add this values to the list. This process can be repeated many times depending on the amount of desired values.

  3. Add regions of interest (ROIs) to limit where the replacement will occur: Visualize the input raster data on the main TerraView window using the Layer Explorer. Press either the “Create by Polygon” or “Create by Extent” buttons. Use the mouse over the image area to define the restriction ROIs.

  4. Press the “Next” button.

    Wizard Page 3 – Output Raster parameters

  1. Set the output parameters.
    Repository: Defines where the output data will be saved.

      1.  Local File.

      2. Layer Name: Defines the name to create the output layer.

  2. Press the “Finishbutton.
