Color Transform
The
Color Transform
operation is used to change the color system of a image
. The available methods in TerraLib are:
RGB to IHS:
Converts the system color of the image from RGB to IHS.
IHS to RGB
Converts the system color of the image from IHS to RGB
.
It is accessible through:
Raster Processing > Color Transform...
(list of all raster layers will be available)
This wizard consists of the following steps:
Wizard Page 1 -
Selection of the layer to apply the operation (
Layer Search
)
On the
List of Layers
select the raster layer to change the color system.
Optionally use
Filter By Name
field giving part of the layer name to help find the layer in the list.
Press
Next
to go to next step or
Cancel
to close the dialog.
Wizard Page 2 - Color Transform
parameters
Select the
Type
of color transform to be used and set the their specific parameters.
RGB - IHS
Select the raster and band index for the red channel.
Select the raster and band index for the blue channel.
Select the raster and band index for the green channel.
Defines the minimum and maximum RGB value used in the transformation.
IHS - RGB
Select the raster and band index for the intensity channel.
Select the raster and band index for the hue channel.
Select the raster and band index for the saturation channel.
Defines the minimum and maximum RGB value used in the transformation.

Next
to apply the contrast or
Back
to go to the previous wizard page.
Wizard Page 3 -
Output information
Raster Info
- First press
and inform the folder where the resulting file will be saved.
Name -
inform the raster name.
Extra Parameters

Press
Finish
to save the resulting contrasted raster or
Back
to go to the previous wizard page.
Hint: The resulting image will be added as a new layer at the TerraView project.
