Operation...
- Select
one layer in the List
of Layers
- Choose the attributes that will
compose the
output layer (skip this step if all attributes are
desirable)
- Select
the attributes in the
Available
Properties list.
- Move the selected attributes to Used
Properties list.
- Click Next.
- Choose the
operation(s)/methdology and
output layer name/repository:
- Operations:
- Convex Hull / Centroid / Minimum Bounding Rectangle (MBR) - Each operation will
generate a geometry
attribute in a distinct output layer suffixed by
the operation
name.
- Area / Line / Perimeter -
These
operations will generate numeric attributes in all
output layers
generated.
- Methodology:
- All Objects - Selects all
layer
objects to perform the operation.
- Aggregated Objects -
it
aggregates
all objects (generating only one) to perform the
operation.
- By Attributes - it
aggregates
the objects with the same attribute in groups
and perform the operation over the groups.
- Output: Inform the Output Repository
- Clicking on
to select the output
directory and inform the new layer name, or
- Clicking on
to select the Data
Source
repository and after
- Inform the new Layer
Name to store the operation result.
- Click Finish to perform
the operation, Back
to change some parameters or Cancel to close the interface.
Usage tips:
The Geometric Operation
result
can be
stored in different TerraLib data sources. Check data
source
selector for more details on how to select a data
source.
