The
Layer Exchanger interface is
used to export a TerraLib layer to a external source. This component
allows you to export a layer at a time. The list of output sources may
vary depending on the active plugins.
It is
accessible through:
Layer
Explorer > Right Click over a
Layer-name >
Exchange... (used to export a
specific layer)
Tools > Data Exchanger > Layer Exchanger... (list of all
layers will be available)
To export a layer is required
the following steps:
- Select the input layer
entry, field "Input Layer".
- Select the output data
source type, field "Output Data
Source Type". The next fields may vary according to the selected
source.
- Inform the output data
source, field "Output Data Source",
or
- Inform the name of the
output data set or the location of a path where the data will be
exported, field "Data Set Name".
- Some data sources allow
for the creation of spatial index, field "Create Spatial Index".
At the end of the process, if
everything goes correctly, a success message will be displayed,
otherwise a message indicating the type of error will be displayed.
NOTE: If the desired output data source is not available, it is
possible to add new data sources via the button shown in the figure
below.
