Querying to Relational Databases (Cadastral Maps)
    SPRING presents a new spatial querying similar to those of desktop mapping systems, allowing:
  • Table and Attribute Definition Using Relational Databases;
  • Query by Spatial Attributes and Display;
  • Geographical Objects Grouping by Attributes;
  • Generation of Graphics (histogram, pie charts) with Attributes Distribution;
  • The display of the relational table contents with geo-objects attributes;
  • Connection between the table contents with the spatial location of the objects;
  • Creation of graphics containing the distribution of two related attributes;
  • Support to the xBASE, ACCESS and ORACLE standards.

Chart Generation
  • Interactive environment (WYSIWYG) for maps with symbol, legend and text positioning control;
  • Symbol Library using DXF Format;
  • Paper configuration for A0, A1, A2, A3 and A4 sizes;
  • Support for HPGL/2 and Postscript Devices.

Data Interchange
  • Import:

Map Management
  • Support to 14 Cartographical Projections;
  • Vector and Image Mosaic;
  • Data Conversion Between Projections;
  • Label Placement (texts) over any infolayer belonging to any of the data models types;
  • Vector Registration;
  • Clean Vectors - delete doubled lines, polygons and elements smaller than the dimensions provided by the user; automatic breaking in lines intersection;
  • Points Generation - conversion from thematic maps (points and polygons) or cadastral maps (points and polygons with attributes) to thematic points maps (2D points) or DTM maps (3D samples).

Help On-line
  • Help in the HTML format - it operates only with the Internet Explorer browser for the Windows version and with the Netscape browser for the UNIX versions.
