Biografia:
Dr. José Claudio Mura was born in Novo Horizonte, state of São Paulo, Brazil. He received the B.S.E.E degree, in 1978, from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos - USP, Brazil, and the M.Sc. from Aeronautical Technological Institute (ITA), in 1985, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE), in 2000. He went to the Centre National D\'Etudes Espatiales (CNES) in 1985 as a Visiting Scientist to work with Image Progessing, and to the German Space Establishment (DLR) in 1993 as a Guest Scientist and in 1997, 1999 and 2000 as a Visiting Scientist, to work with SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) Processing and SAR Interferometry. Since 1979, he has been with the Brazilian Institute for Space Research (INPE) where he is, currently, a researcher at the Image Processing Division (DPI). His areas of interest includes SAR image processing, SAR interferometry, SAR Polarimetry and Remote Sensing Applications.
